  Portland detective, Nick Burkhardt, has seen some gruesome crime scenes, but nothing
prepares him for the strange visions he begins seeing: seemingly regular people momentarily transforming into hideous
monsters. A visit from his only living relative reveals the truth. Nick has inherited the ability to see supernatural
creatures, and as a "Grimm," he is tasked with keeping the balance between mankind and the mythological. A reformed "Big
Bad Wolf" becomes his greatest (and also reluctant) ally and confidant. It's not long before his work as a policeman
leads Nick to the criminals he once thought were only found in fairy tales. Written by L. Hamre
  
  Prosegue
con la quinta stagione la lotta contro le creature soprannaturali del ‘cacciatore’ Nick Burkhardt (David
Guintoli), detective della squadra omicidi di Portland, chiamato ad indagare con il suo partner, Hank Griffin (Russell
Hornsby) sulle continue misteriose morti. 
  
  Inizialmente all’oscuro dei suoi poteri e della sua
missione, la vita di Nick verrà sconvolta dall'incontro con la zia Marie che gli rivela di essere l'ultimo
discendente di una famiglia di cacciatori chiamati "Grimm", incaricata di tenere l'umanità al riparo dalle creature
sovrannaturali che abitano il mondo. 
  
  Così si trova a combattere contro misteriose entità,
accettando il suo destino e sfruttando le sue capacità per combattere il crimine e gli strani casi che si trova ad
affrontare. Nel suo cammino contro il male incontrerà anche Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), un Blutbad (lupo mannaro),
insieme risolveranno i casi che già hanno fatto appassionare il grande pubblico americano. 
  
  La scorsa
stagione si è chiusa in maniera drammatica per Nick, con le morti sia di sua madre Kelly (Mary Elizabeth
Mastrantonio) che della sua fidanzata storica Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch), quest’ultima in particolare deceduta tra
le sue braccia dopo esser stata vittima di un’azione omicida da parte di Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni). In questo
quarto capitolo della serie dunque il detective, evidentemente scosso dagli ultimi eventi, andrà alla ricerca di
vendetta personale ma sarà anche impegnato nel gestire la complicata situazione con Adalind (Claire Coffee), messa
involontariamente incinta da lui e ora pronta a dargli un figlio. 
  
  Con Hank in procinto di trovare il
vero amore, Rosalee (Bree Turner) intanto dovrà affrontare i fantasmi del suo fosco passato che torneranno a
tormentarla creando non poche difficoltà sia a lei che a suo marito Monroe, mentre Renard (Sasha Roiz) non verrà
ostacolato più dalla Famiglia Reale e proverà a cogliere al volo le opportunità politiche che gli
presenteranno. 
  
  ‘Grimm’ è una serie del 2011 ideata e prodotta da David Greenwalt. Nel
cast della quinta stagione troviamo anche: Keiko Agena (Madoka Akagi), Carlson Young (Selina Golias), Madeline Brewer
(Billie Trump) e Elizabeth Rodriguez (Kathryn Chavez).
